Immunecare was started in 2001 by Neil Wootten and Janine Burns. Neil and Janine realised that there was a gap in the market for innovative products to help with conditions that the orthodox medical establishment struggles with.

Neil, a Sports Scientist and PhD in Nutritional Sciences, and Janine an alternative practitioner, have researched products from all over the world before carefully selecting the best ones to manufacture. All products have to have good science and research behind them. The result is a range of products that really work, and do “exactly what it says on the tin”!

Dr Peter Mukherji MB BS DCH FRCP FRCGP MFHom DipMedAc
We are delighted to welcome Dr Peter Mukherji who has joined immunecare in a consultancy role.
A GP and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Dr Mukherji is also a qualified homeopath and acupuncturist who believes in integrated healthcare and incorporates complementary approaches into his medical practice. He specialises in chronic conditions.

Neil Wootten, Managing Director, Winning Team Ltd. Neil is a qualified Sports Scientist and a doctor of Nutritional Sciences with many years experience in Nutrition and Health related fields. For example, he has instituted many successful weight loss programs. With regard to nutrition, Neil started work in the Health Food Industry in 1987. He continues to update his knowledge by gaining CPD credits each year. Currently he has completed two years of a course to become a naturopathic practitioner.

Rob Fordham is a qualified nutritionist and naturopath.

Janine Burns, Consultant  Practitioner, Winning Team Ltd. Janine acts as Consultant Practitioner at gutdoctor. She is an athlete who has suffered from a number of gut related problems in the past, including IBS, Candida and ME. Working with her husband, Neil, and other complementary practitioners, she conquered her own health problems using natural approaches. Janine has run a successful Candida clinic and now combines her work at Winning Team with her hobby of competing horses in cross-country and showjumping.

Immunecare is an ethical organisation that works with top practitioners and retailers to provide the best possible products at a reasonable cost. They provide a Helpline to answer any queries you may have about the products. If you require an in depth consultation, i.e. longer than ten minutes, then we can arrange a chargeable telephone consultation with our Consultant Nutritionist.
